Tracy Runyon

Tracy Runyon joined the Brownsburg staff in 1997. He teaches high school band, jazz band, marching band and assists with the middle school bands. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Indiana State University and a Masters degree in Music Technology from Indiana University.

Chris Kaflik

Chris Kaflik joined the Brownsburg staff in 2016. He teaches high school band, color guard, jazz band, marching band and assists with the middle school bands. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Ball State University.
John Marque

John Marque

John Marque joined the Brownsburg staff in 2016. He teaches percussion grades 6 – 12, jazz band, concert band, percussion ensemble and marching band. He has a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from Miami University (Ohio) and a Masters of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University. John is an active performer in the midwest and an endorser of Vic Firth, Zildjian, and Remo products
Chad Brinkman

Chad Brinkman

Chad Brinkman joined the Brownsburg staff in 2020. He teaches middle school band, jazz band, and assists high school marching band. He graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Music Education.
Courtney Cummings

Courtney Cummings

Courtney Cummings joined the Brownsburg staff in 2005. She teaches middle school band and jazz band at West and assists with the high school marching band. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from DePauw University and a Masters degree in Music Technology from Indiana University.

Laura Crawford joined the Brownsburg staff in 2011.  She teaches orchestra at East and West Middle Schools.  She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree.  Email Mrs. Crawford

Angie Boyer works with the band and orchestra staff as the High School Performing Arts Secretary.  She joined the Brownsburg school staff in 2013.  Email Mrs. Boyer

Private Lesson & Sectional Faculty
Every student in the Brownsburg Bands program is encouraged to take private lessons.  These lessons can be taken before school, after school, or even DURING BAND CLASS.  Each private instructor is a professional on their instrument, and will provide first class instruction for their students.
